Alivoil is a small business run by a father and a son. That’s me, the son, writing what you’re reading right now, and everything else on this website.
Before Alivoil, people living in the UK had two options: supermarket olive oil that’s at least one or two years old and has been degraded by exposure to temperature and light, and specialist retailers with a large markup.
When we realised there was no affordable fresh EVOO in the UK, we were inspired to create this company, given our food business experience and personal love for olive oil.
Buying fresh extra virgin olive oil shouldn’t break the bank. That’s why Alivoil is founded on a simple principle: providing high-quality extra virgin olive oil, from the most recent harvest, at the cheapest possible price.
We also differentiate ourselves by storing our olive oil in conditions that protect them from degradation caused by light and hot and cold temperatures.
